The position requires a Master’s degree in nursing, Nursing Education or Health Care Administration, plus RN licensure and teaching experience. Monday–Friday, day shift, 40 hours per week, with compensation in the hourly pay range provided.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of teaching experience preferred. Minimum 3 years clinical experience as an RN in practice area required.
• Appropriate practice area certification required within 1 year of eligibility for certification exam.
• Life Support Instructor Certification may be required based on the needs of the patient population served.
• Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state you work and reside (or meet licensure requirements in home state if on National License Compact).

• Synthesizes literature to design education interventions.
• Supervises unit educators and participates in performance reviews.
• Provides educational consultation across the continuum in area of specialty.
• Assesses learning styles and creates education materials.
• Conducts annual education needs assessments and analyzes priorities.
• Coaches unit educators on curriculum development and evaluation.
• Develops educational effectiveness measures and outcomes.
• Participates in selection of preceptors and provides ongoing feedback.
• Utilizes multiple education modalities and technology for cost-effective programs.
• Provides cost analysis for education programs and manages resources.
• Participates in facility-wide program development.
