Job summary

Baxter International Inc. seeks a Surgical Sales Specialist for the Microsurgical team, based in the Greater Seattle area. You will build trusted relationships with doctors and nurses, promote a deep product portfolio, and travel across Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska.

You will implement regional strategic plans, support trade shows, call on prospects, and maintain strong customer relationships while aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of operating room sales experience (Plastics or ENT preferred).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to develop rapport with customers within the sales region and throughout the US market.
• Maintain operating room credentialing certifications and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Developing business with current customers and new customers in all product groups, building the GEM brand and supporting the mission of being the microsurgeon’s most trusted resource.
• Supporting local, regional, and national trade shows and sales meetings
• Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and demonstrations
• Maintaining effective relationships with customers and gaining their trust and respect
• Monitoring sales against forecasts and participating in market Potential assessment for the territory
• Coordinating with hospital administration, supply chain and purchasing
• Providing feedback for marketing programs and product revisions
