Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Data Protection and Privacy to lead Microsoft security engagements, shaping end-to-end architecture across Purview, Defender, Entra, and Azure services. You will guide cross-functional teams, translate business and regulatory requirements into architectures, and drive governance programs.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in cybersecurity, strong Purview experience, and proven leadership across large client engagements, including BD activities and solution estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, Privacy, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 6+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, data protection, identity, endpoint, cloud security, privacy, or related tech consulting.
• Demonstrated experience architecting integrated Microsoft solutions across multiple security and data capabilities.
• Hands-on architecture or delivery experience with Microsoft Purview across multiple capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft security and data protection engagements from discovery to benefits realization.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across Purview and related Microsoft platforms.
• Incorporate Purview into broader security architectures including DLP, Records Management, and Data Governance.
• Develop security, data protection, identity, cloud, and AI governance strategies aligned with objectives.
• Manage engagement scope, budgets, risks, and executive reporting.
