Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Data Protection and Privacy team to lead Microsoft security architecture engagements and own end‑to‑end design across Purview, Defender, Entra, and related cloud platforms.

You will guide multidisciplinary delivery teams, translate business and regulatory requirements into target architectures, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, Privacy, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity, data protection, identity, endpoint, cloud security, privacy, or information governance experience including leading teams or workstreams.
• Experience architecting integrated Microsoft solutions across security, compliance, identity, endpoint, cloud, data, or analytics capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Data Lifecycle Management, and related components.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft security and data protection engagements from discovery through architecture, implementation oversight, testing, deployment, and benefits realization.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across Microsoft Purview, Defender, Intune, Sentinel, Entra, Azure security services, and related platforms.
• Incorporate Purview into broader security architectures, including Information Protection, labeling, DLP, Records Management, and Data Security Posture Management.
• Develop integrated security, data protection, identity, cloud, data governance, privacy, and AI governance strategies aligned with objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and transformation programs.
• Facilitate workshops across security, privacy, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.
