Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Data Protection and Privacy team to design secure, well-governed Microsoft environments. You will serve as a Microsoft Security Architect leading engagements across Purview, Defender, Entra, and more.

This role demands strong leadership, client relationship skills, and the ability to align security with regulatory obligations. You will own end-to-end architecture, oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive business development, and ensure delivery excellence while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, identity, cloud security, or related consulting.
• Experience architecting Microsoft solutions across security, compliance, identity, data, and analytics.
• Hands-on with Purview and related capabilities across the Microsoft stack.
• Ability to lead teams, manage engagements, and drive business development.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft security and data protection engagements from discovery through delivery.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across Purview, Defender, Entra, Azure security services, and more.
• Ensure Purview integration into broader security architectures and data governance.
• Develop governance strategies aligned with business and regulatory obligations.
• Lead architecture reviews, roadmaps, and transformation programs.
• Facilitate workshops with security, privacy, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into target-state architectures and implementation plans.
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, and quality criteria for Microsoft solutions.
• Design and oversee integrations across Microsoft platforms and third-party tools.
• Lead security architecture for Copilot, Fabric, and enterprise apps with AI governance concerns.
• Manage engagement scope, budgets, risks, and executive reporting.
• Provide direction and coaching to junior resources and resolve cross-platform issues.
• Develop reusable architectures, reference designs, accelerators, and thought leadership.
• Support proposals, pricing, and account development.
