Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Data Protection and Privacy team to serve as a Microsoft Security Architect, leading engagements across security, privacy, and data governance. You will connect Purview with the wider Microsoft stack and third-party technologies to deliver secure, well-governed environments.

Required hands-on experience with Purview and related Microsoft security capabilities, plus ability to mentor teams, manage scope, and guide executive stakeholders through architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 6+ years in cybersecurity, data protection, or privacy consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft security and data protection engagements from discovery through architecture, implementation, testing, and operation.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across Microsoft Purview, Defender, Intune, Sentinel, Entra, and other security services.
• Incorporate Purview into broader security architectures (Information Protection, DLP, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management).
• Develop integrated strategies for security, data governance, privacy, and AI governance aligned with business needs.
• Lead architecture reviews, roadmaps, and governance frameworks; manage workshops with stakeholders across functions.
