Job summary

Lyft Urban Solutions seeks an Operations Specialist to support the General Manager of Capital Bikeshare in developing and executing operational plans that improve service quality and customer experience. The role blends hands-on problem-solving with strategic projects to enhance micromobility services.

You’ll monitor field operations, manage SOPs, and coordinate with city partners to address market-specific challenges, driving continuous improvement across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience overseeing operations in a fast-moving environment such as a distribution warehouse, marketplace, or delivery operation.
• Experience using Google Sheets and other data analysis tools to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with an ability to zoom out and understand the bigger context of your work.
• Proven track record of data-based problem-solving with the ability to think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily field operations: create/refine playbooks and SOPs, oversee contractor relationships, and perform quality checks in field and depot.
• Own end-to-end processes like invoicing and asset tracking to support the success of the business.
• Audit performance against SLAs, identify risks and inefficiencies, and escalate as needed.
• Support the Capital Bikeshare team in maintaining relationships with city partners and addressing market-specific issues or projects.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify root causes, using field operations and data to drive improvements.
