Edison Smart® is seeking an Application Solution Engineer for our Delaware, OH microgrid initiatives. The role focuses on shaping tailored energy storage and power-management solutions by collaborating with product and sales teams to understand customer requirements and present compelling technical demonstrations.

You will design configurations, advise on system architecture, and support customers through implementation, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance outcomes while staying

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with strong Electrical/Power background.
• 4–5 years of applications engineering, systems engineering or technical consulting experience.
• Experience with inverters, energy storage systems (ESS), EMS, controls and power management.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Product Management and sales to understand customer requirements, business objectives and technical specifications, supporting the sales process through product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Design and recommend tailored solutions, products, configurations and integrations that meet customer needs while ensuring scalability, security, reliability and performance.
• Provide technical consulting and guidance on system architecture, integration methods and industry best practices, addressing customer queries and technical challenges.
• Support customers throughout implementation and post-sales deployment, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively and meet expectations.
• Gather customer feedback, document technical requirements and solution configurations, and work cross-functionally with Product Management, Development and Customer Support teams to resolve issues and improve product offerings.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of products, services and emerging technologies through continuous learning, professional certifications and industry training.
