Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Microgrid Application Engineer to support development, design, and deployment of microgrid and distributed energy solutions, including BESS and renewable integration. You will bridge customers, sales, and engineering to deliver optimized, compliant systems.

The role requires strong power systems knowledge, hands-on field support, and collaboration across engineering teams. Travel 30-40% to customer sites and project locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical engineering background with microgrid knowledge.
• Experience with microgrid, energy storage, DERs, and grid interconnection.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and system drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support microgrid, BESS, and DER solutions for various applications.
• Collaborate on technical proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and client presentations.
• Conduct system sizing, equipment selection, and analysis for energy storage and microgrid systems.
• Design architectures involving BESS, PCS/inverters, EMS/SCADA, and interconnections.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
