Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to follow laboratory procedures and demonstrate working knowledge of laboratory techniques.
• Must be certified by one of ASCP/AMT/NCA or equivalent, or eligible with certification obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and verify labeling and documentation.
• Perform basic and complex specimen processing and report results.
• Conduct quality control tasks and maintain equipment and records.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in Pathology Quality Assurance.
