Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a microbiology specialist to conduct testing across raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a beverage-focused lab environment.
You will ensure testing aligns with SOPs and regulatory requirements, review results, and investigate OOS events. The role requires lab/manufacturing work, PPE usage, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Position Responsibilities:
Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, environmental monitoring samples, and other laboratory specimens
Ensure testing is performed according to approved methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements
Review, interpret, and approve microbiological test results
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, and contamination events
Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and testing supplies
Collect microbiological sampling of beverages, syrups, raw materials, and sanitation effectiveness swabbing by utilizing Aseptic Technique to prevent sample contamination
Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline with 4 to 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
Microbiology laboratory experience
Experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries
Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and laboratory practices
Understanding of GMP, GLP, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and ISO standardsExperience with environmental monitoring programs
Preferred Education and Experience:
