Job summary

Sysco Medley operations are seeking an Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) Maintenance Technician III helper to support preventive maintenance, battery work and electrical repairs on a variety of material handling gear. This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork within a busy distribution center.

You will assist in electrical and hydraulic systems, perform small repairs, and support the battery team while adhering to Sysco safety standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Four years in an MHE maintenance position or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain MHE and perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Assist battery technicians with battery-related tasks and diagnostics.
• Record time and materials in CMMS daily and assist with on-call duties.
