Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations-focused technician to assist with maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) and industrial batteries. The role supports PMs, inspections, and minor electrical repairs in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate has four years in MHE maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school preferred (2 years).
• Four years in an MHE maintenance position or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist MHE technician III with maintenance activities and battery maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot MHE electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct minor electrical repairs, welding, and basic hydraulic/mechanical diagnostics.
