Job summary

Sysco in New Braunfels, TX is seeking an Operations technician to assist MHE technicians II & III with maintenance of material handling equipment and industrial batteries. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and reliability of equipment.

You will learn electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, gain exposure to welding, and perform PM tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required, with tech school preferred; valid driver's license and readiness for Sysco certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school preferred.
• Two years in an MHE maintenance position preferred (No experience required).
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Learn/perform small electrical repairs and welding as needed.
• Maintain MHE fleet PM, check belts/chains, troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, drive motors, and PLCs.
