Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations technician to support MHE maintenance and battery upkeep at our Nashville-area facility. You will assist with preventive maintenance, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, and safety compliance as part of a hands-on team.

Responsibilities include logging work orders in CMMS, supporting battery techs, and performing minor repairs. This role offers 2nd shift, pay up to $24/hour, and comprehensive benefits with promising career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; tech school preferred (2 years).
• Four years in an MHE maintenance position or equivalent experience.
• Valid state Driver's License with liability coverage meeting company standards; defensive driving course required.
• MHE certifications: 8-hour maintenance tech cert from manufacturer; Sysco-approved certifications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair MHE including preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Assist battery technicians with charger repairs and battery maintenance.
• Log time and materials into CMMS with work orders and PMs.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure PPE compliance.
