Job summary

Sysco North Texas (Division of USA I) is seeking an Operations position focused on assisting MHE technicians with maintenance and battery care. This role supports preventive maintenance of material handling equipment and related systems.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, tech training preferred, and a valid driver’s license. The position involves on-site work with safety and regulatory compliance as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; tech school preferred.
• 2 years in an MHE maintenance position preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required; defensive driving training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or regulations.
• Ability to perform small electrical repairs and welding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist MHE technicians with maintenance activities and PMs.
• Learn/perform electrical repairs, PLCs, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Maintain MHE fleet, perform PMs, check oil levels and belts.
• Maintain battery systems: charging, watering, cleaning, equalizing charges.
• Log time and materials into CMMS; ensure safety and housekeeping.
