Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Lewisville, TX seeks an Operations helper to assist MHE technicians with maintenance of equipment and batteries. The role involves learning control systems, performing light electrical work, and completing preventive maintenance tasks to keep the fleet operating safely. A strong safety mindset and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required. This is a full-time, first-shift position with benefit opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; tech school preferred (2 years).
• Two years in an MHE maintenance position is preferred, but no experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Learn controls and electrical low voltage (AC/DC).
• Perform small electrical repairs and welding as needed.
• Carry out PMs and maintenance on MHE fleet and batteries.
• Learn hydraulic and electrical systems including PLCs.
• Assist with building/grounds tasks as requested.
• Maintain battery maintenance duties including charging, watering, and cleaning.
