Job summary

Orange & Rockland is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead the meter shop and field services teams. The role includes directing installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of metering and test equipment, while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.

The position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with a focus on productive workloads and on-time service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related business experience, preferably in utility metering and distribution requirements
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related business experience, preferably in utility metering and distribution requirements
High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of related business experience, preferably in utility metering and distribution requirements

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, schedules and assigns workload for meter technician chiefs and technicians and other staff members.
Prepares requisitions for meters, transformers and metering devices and ensures timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Conducts monthly inventory of metering devices and ensures supplies are available for installations.
