Qualifications

• 3+ years of utility field operations experience.
• Prior 3+ supervisory experience in utility field operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers.
• Ability to facilitate consensus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of PC applications.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, commitment, follow through and execution.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to draw accurate conclusions from quantitative information and make sound decisions.
• Ability to properly coordinate and manage multiple tasks.
• Good supervisory and leadership skills.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Customer oriented.
• Understanding electric and gas theory and field work practices.
• Working knowledge of computers and NIPSCO operating systems, such as CIS.
• Proven ability to make rational decisions under pressure.
• Meter data analysis and performance monitoring.
• KPI development and tracking.
• Root cause analysis of metering and billing issues.
• Proficiency with: AMI Systems Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS) SAP or Maximo GIS Microsoft Excel Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Metering department in managing field operations and resources.
• Ensures effective prioritizing and assignment of metering work requests.
• Directs team to prioritize and assign orders to meet commitments.
• Strategy development to deliver the corporate vision and operating model.
• Oversees installation, removal and testing of electronic meters.
• Coaches staff for productivity, safety and quality.
