Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) is seeking a supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance and inspection of electric meter equipment across the network.

You will ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and PSC requirements while guiding a team of technicians. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate materials, schedules and resources for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with 5+ years of related work experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of supervisory/field experience.
• Experience with electric metering and related field operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electric meter equipment.
• Ensure work complies with safety, environmental and PSC requirements.
• Develop and monitor staff skills; provide performance feedback.
• Manage labor, materials and supplies accounting.
• Assist planners in scheduling and prioritizing work to meet goals.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery; stay within budget.
• Travel to multiple work locations across the CECONY system and respond to emergencies.
• Perform additional assignments as required.
