Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Metering Supervisor to lead and coach field teams responsible for metering services. You will oversee performance, educate staff on meter systems, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years in metering operations, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. On-site work Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Journeyman Meter Technician apprenticeship preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in electric metering utility operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with or ability to learn various computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, advising, and teaching to others through day-to-day contact.
• Directs, monitors, and evaluates the performance of direct reports within the reporting organization.
• Ensures safe, efficient operations of metering services.
• Educates team on meter malfunctions and errors on single and three-phase meters.
• Develops and implements annual plans to improve performance and field work practices.
