Job summary

Oregon Steel Mills in Portland is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to perform all facets of Inside Sales duties and support Outside Sales by developing new leads and building relationships with customers to secure high volumes of profitable sales. • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for order solicitation, pricing and quotations, order write-up, expediting, claims processing, and general telephone work as well as assuming responsibility for accounts and projects
• Responsible for understanding the roles and functions of various departments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Keeping up to date on competitor activity within the industry (e.g., pricing, product developments, policies, company changes, and report all significant information to Sales Management and Outside Sales Representatives)
