Job summary

Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in Portland, OR is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to perform all facets of Inside Sales duties and support Outside Sales by developing new leads and building customer relationships to maximize profitable sales.

This is an on-site position with a base salary starting at $75,000+ per year and monthly incentive bonus opportunities. You will handle order solicitation, pricing, quotations, write-up, expediting, claims processing and account management while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field or commensurate experience.
• 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably metals related.
• Strong interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
• Time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to travel on occasion, as required.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Solicit orders, pricing and quotations, order write-up, expediting, claims processing and general telephone work; manage accounts and projects.
• Understand roles of various departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Monitor competitor activity and report significant information to Sales Management and Outside Sales.
