CW Resources in Groton, CT is seeking a dependable Mess Attendant Supervisor to lead daily galley operations during afternoon shifts. This is a working supervisor role, with hands-on duties and training responsibilities to keep dining areas clean, safe, and efficient.

The successful candidate will coach team members, enforce sanitation standards, operate dishwashing equipment, and collaborate with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food service, custodial, or galley operations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or team-support role.
• Experience in high-volume dining facilities with sanitation and front-of-house support duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to Mess Attendants throughout the shift.
• Set clear expectations, reinforce performance standards, and promote a positive team environment.
• Monitor team output to ensure quality, safety, and sanitation protocols are followed.
• Operate and oversee commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure proper sanitation of dishware.
• Direct and assist with manual scrubbing and sanitizing of cookware.
• Support front-of-house operations, including dining area resets and cleanliness.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and ready for the next shift.
• Assist with inventory checks and coordination with kitchen staff.
