Job summary

Inteva Products in Michigan is seeking an IT Technician to support the MES shop floor software, databases, and related production systems. You will configure, maintain and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role includes supporting Windows servers, networks, end-user computing, and coordinating IT projects across Troy/Auburn Hills locations, with on-call support as needed. Associate degree required and 3+ years of IT experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Effective problem solver.
• Experience troubleshooting production floor systems and related technologies.
• Effective communicator (written, spoken, peers, operators, managers).
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, networking, and databases.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments.
• Proficient in use of Office 365 applications.
• Proficient in SQL Database and Microsoft Windows servers.
• 2+ years Cisco Network administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot and monitor MES shop floor software, database and related systems.
• Support Windows server environments and related infrastructure.
• Assist with LAN, wireless networks and connected devices.
• Monitor system performance and availability.
• Provide IT support for plant infrastructure and end-user computing.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and manufacturing system issues.
• Coordinate IT projects, system implementations and equipment installations.
• Follow corporate IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and provide off-shift support as needed.
• Document troubleshooting activities and technical procedures.
• Work with Corporate IT and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
• May support both the Troy and Auburn Hills locations.
