Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking an IT Technician to join our team. You will install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks, resolving issues to keep production running. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Windows and Linux, and experience with Active Directory and DHCP.

You will provide end-user support, document processes, and participate in on-site training. Regular/ permanent worker type; weekend coverage may be required to support production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as IT Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with SQL SELECT statements for data retrieval.
• Experience with Active Directory and DHCP networking.

Responsibilities

• Resolve support calls within defined SLA.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Provide end-user IT support and problem diagnosis.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Document IT processes and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
• Train end-users on MES system usage and updates.
