Job summary

Inteva Products is seeking a skilled IT professional to oversee a plant IT environment at the Auburn Hills facility. This role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN-based information systems, and coordinating with corporate IT to support local operations including shop floor applications.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–7 years of automotive/industrial IT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or related IT field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years IT experience, preferably automotive/industrial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective written and spoken communication across peers, operators, managers
• Experience with Windows Server administration, network monitoring, SQL, C#, and MES

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain LAN-based information systems including configuration, tuning, upgrades, performance monitoring, and usage reporting
• Maintain LAN integrity by applying upgrades/ service packs as required
• Analyze technology trends to recommend IT solutions for production floor
• Manage IT budgets for site requirements and new program expenses
• Lead local IT personnel including coverage hours, crisis support, training, and processes
• Perform on-call problem resolution and follow-up analysis to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate with corporate IT to configure and maintain local systems
• Support both Troy and Auburn Hills locations as needed
