Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Merchant Services Account Manager to support the Commercial and Large Account teams. You will manage day-to-day merchant relationships, onboard new clients, and collaborate with the Relationship Manager to execute account plans, ensuring accurate processing and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years experience in merchant services, payments, financial services, or account/client support roles.
• 10+ years experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• 10+ years experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Operational Support: Manage daily tasks for commercial and large account merchant relationships, ensuring accurate processing and timely resolution.
• Partnership with Strategic Account Manager: Support strategic initiatives and account plans with follow-through on commitments.
• Client Service & Issue Resolution: Serve as primary contact for client service needs and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Onboarding & Account Maintenance: Facilitate new merchant setup, onboarding, and ongoing account maintenance with accurate pricing and configurations.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with product, operations, risk, and compliance teams for timely delivery of merchant services.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare account reporting, transaction summaries, and performance data for reviews and recommendations.
• Process & Documentation Management: Maintain CRM records and ensure data integrity and policy adherence.
• Client Retention Support: Identify service gaps and opportunities to enhance the client experience and retention.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support client meetings and team initiatives
