Job summary

Jobtailor in San Francisco, CA seeks an experienced merchant sales professional to drive new business in the payments space. You will work with Treasury Sales Officers and relationship managers to win high-value merchant deals and craft tailored value propositions.

You will consult on commerce ecosystems, tokenization, transaction routing, and ERP/data security requirements, while serving as the primary contact for complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Core Acquiring (Credit/Debit) industry experience.
• 2–5 years of direct sales experience.
• 2–5 years sales experience including C-level sales.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Expert knowledge of POS payment interfaces.
• Understanding of PCI data security and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive new merchant business acquisition in partnership with Treasury Sales Officers and relationship managers.
• Engage clients as part of the extended client team for complex merchant sales.
• Consult on client commerce ecosystems, integrations, industry standards, trends, and bank product solutions.
• Serve as the main contact for new merchant business sales involving high-value opportunities.
• Develop tailored value propositions for different client types and industries.
