Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is seeking a proactive Merchant Acquisition Specialist in San Francisco to identify, recruit, and onboard merchants across restaurants and retail partners. You will pitch our platform, negotiate partnerships, and drive ongoing collaboration to optimize performance and increase order volume.

You will travel to target merchants, build strong relationships, and work with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to implement tailored platform strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or offline business development is desirable.
• Familiarity with food delivery industry or local retail is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential merchants to join the platform.
• Conduct in-person visits to pitch partnerships and complete onboarding.
• Maintain long-term merchant relationships and provide ongoing business support.
• Work with onboarded merchants to optimize performance and grow GMV.
• Coordinate campaigns with Marketing to increase merchant exposure and transactions.
• Update merchant data and monitor performance in the backend.
• Gather merchant feedback to inform product improvements.
