Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand merchant partnerships and support local market growth in Sacramento, Rowland Heights, and Queens areas. You will connect with business owners, develop partnerships, and help them grow through our digital platform.

You will conduct in-person visits, negotiate terms, onboard new partners, and collaborate with Marketing/Operations to create promotions that increase orders and improve platform performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners.
• Self-motivated and able to manage field visits and multiple priorities.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required for communication with the target merchant network.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential merchant partners, including restaurants, grocery stores, and local retailers.
• Conduct in-person visits to introduce platform services and explore partnership opportunities.
• Build relationships with business owners, negotiate partnership terms, and support merchant onboarding.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners through regular communication and ongoing business support.
• Work with merchants to improve platform performance, increase order volume, and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to develop promotional initiatives.
• Maintain accurate merchant information and monitor partnership performance.
• Gather market insights and merchant feedback to support business development strategies.
