Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. seeks a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to drive sales, set merchandising strategy, and coaches a store team to meet AE’s visual and guest-service standards. You will ensure floorset execution, replenishment, and brand compliance daily, acting as a key partner to the Store Team Leader.

You will recruit and train talent, provide real-time feedback, and lead by example to create guest-ready stores that reflect AE’s values and customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Passion for driving sales and maximizing guest experience.
• Coach team to deliver AE Brand Standards on the floor and in Fitting Rooms.
• Ability to develop short- and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
• Strong capability to recruit, train, and develop store talent.
• Provide ongoing coaching and real-time feedback to improve performance.
• Execute and innovate daily store operations while maintaining visual standards.
• Uphold store safety, asset protection, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by optimizing floor and fitting room productivity and guest loyalty.
• Analyze daily trends and reports to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with Store Leader to plan and execute merchandising and floor sets.
• Lead and coach the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs and standards.
• Provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and celebrate success.
• Maintain visual standards and safe, compliant store operations.
