Job summary

Belk in the United States seeks a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team across store operations, merchandising, and facilities to deliver a stellar customer experience and drive sales and profitability.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, inventory, replenishment, and store fulfillment while collaborating with visual teams on presentations and planograms. Leadership planning and coaching are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive store metrics.
• Strong communication, coaching, and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities with a focus on customer experience and profitability.
• Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, inventory, replenishment, and store fulfillment.
• Coordinate back-of-house and front-of-house activities including product placement, floor sets, pricing, and signage.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain planograms and clean store presentation.
• Plan weekly leadership workload, forecast receipts, and labor hours using planning tools.
• Develop team knowledge and coach associates to execute consistently and efficiently.
• Set clear priorities, review performance, and foster a culture of excellence and results.
• Drive retention and engagement; recognize contributions and promote team initiatives.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development to maintain a ready-now bench.
• Manage shortage control and inventory accuracy with asset protection and safety protocols.
