Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities to enhance customer experience and drive sales. You will direct inbound/outbound deliveries, inventory management, and store fulfillment while collaborating with selling and visual teams to maintain elevated presentations.

You will plan workloads, train associates, and foster a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of Visual Merchandising or Retail Management experience.
Strong analytics, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Ability to mentor and coach teammates.
Self-directed, with minimal supervision and deadline-driven focus.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfortable with technology and Windows devices.

Responsibilities

Lead team in back-of-house operations and ready product for sales floor.
Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, inventory management, and store fulfillment.
Direct front-of-house operations including product placement and pricing.
Coordinate merchandising presentations with visual teams and planograms.
Plan weekly leadership workload and allocate labor hours.
Develop team knowledge through coaching and training.
Set priorities, review performance, and foster a culture of excellence.
Drive retention by recognizing contributions and promoting activities.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and talent development.
Maintain asset protection, safety, and security compliance.
