Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Frederick, MD to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning andInventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong merchandising and inventory management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop store teams to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards across store.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and service.
• Oversee truck execution and inventory flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure pricing integrity and timely price changes.
• Oversee Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN processes.
• Assist in shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and training.
