Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Maryland store to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards, ensuring accurate pricing and timely promotional execution.

You will provide MOD coverage, manage workload planning, and lead a team to maintain in-stock levels, strong store conditions, and customer-ready environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards by the team.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership.
• Lead truck execution and ensure timely unloading and sorting of merchandise.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to keep stock healthy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Ensure a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
