Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Menominee, MI. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a team and deliver positive customer experiences through strong merchandising and freight processing.

Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day store operations, handling opening/closing tasks, safeguarding assets, stocking and maintaining floors, and executing directives from corporate communications.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet the physical demands of the role.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store and restrooms.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
