Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team.

You will work with the Store Manager to guide associates and create positive experiences for customers and communities, focusing on merchandising and freight processing. Responsibilities include assisting with store functions, opening/closing, safeguarding assets, maintaining clean and stocked sales areas, and executing directives.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Protect assets, including store cash
• Follow policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process directives and communications related to store activities
• Keep the store clean and presentable
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Assist Store Manager with freight, stock, and merchandising tasks
