Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to help the Store Manager lead a dynamic team and create positive experiences for the communities we serve. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while upholding store standards.

You will assist with daily store functions, manage opening/closing procedures, protect assets, and ensure safety and policy adherence. A strong team environment and customer-friendly approach are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
