Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Alexandria, LA. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service in a clean, safe, and well-stocked store, while achieving sales and margin goals and driving operational efficiencies.

As a key leader, you will collaborate with peers, the District Manager, and Area support staff to meet service, sales, and operational objectives, with occasional rotation through Specialty and Operations for development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years guiding associates in a retail setting.
• 3+ years in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• 1+ year performing manager-on-duty duties across store operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain relevant sales licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer flow and demand; adjust schedules to ensure coverage.
• Plan for sales spikes; maintain in-stock position to support demand.
• Conduct safety walks and coach associates on safe work practices.
• Lead store leadership initiatives and collaborate with peers, District Manager, and Area staff.
• Occasionally rotate through Specialty and Operations tasks for cross-training.
