Job summary

Five Below is hiring an hourly Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, cash handling, and customer service. You will manage opening/closing procedures, merchandising presentation, and staff coordination to ensure a WOW customer experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers growth opportunities within Five Below stores.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock on the sales floor.
• Sets up and maintains displays with accurate signage and promotions.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, cash handling, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and provides customer service.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Executes market plan with proper product placement and signage.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
• Other responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager.
