Michaels in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

You will lead team members, uphold SOPs, and collaborate with store leadership to optimize staffing and execution to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently.
