Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in Des Peres, MO. You will lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions.

As a leader, you will provide MOD coverage, oversee stock movement, and maintain a customer-ready store environment. Demanding workload planning and training will be part of daily responsibilities, with focus on shrink reduction and asset

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage SOPs and company programs.
• Customer-facing and store operations management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, stocking and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks, align staffing with business needs.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment.
