Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Chicago to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through workload planning and inventory management.

With 3+ years of retail leadership, you will lead SOPs, support MOD coverage, and coach team members to uphold store standards and results, while overseeing inventory

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOPs and company programs.
• Strong planning, prioritization and team development.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs for compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service levels.
• Lead truck processing and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy via routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support clean, organized store environment and backroom logistics.
• Manage inventory accuracy, shrink reduction and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets and price changes to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and returns processing.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
• Partner in Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
