The Michaels Companies Inc. in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through workload planning, in-stock optimization, and staff development, with emphasis on SOP adherence and policy execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around a store.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure timely merchandising sets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, accuracy and stock movements.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotions and signage.
• Complete price changes on time to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink control.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Partner to strengthen Asset Protection practices.
