Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is looking for a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team. You’ll focus on merchandising, processing freight, and daily store operations to create positive experiences for the communities we serve.

You will assist with opening/closing, asset protection, store cleanliness, and adherence to safety guidelines while maintaining sales floor standards and supporting monthly merchandising plans.

Qualifications

• Retail, management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect company assets including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with customers and associates.
• Support the Store Manager with freight flow and merchandising.
