Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while supporting daily store operations.

You will assist with opening/closing, manage freight flow and stock needs, maintain the sales floor and stockroom to company standards, ensure safety and policy compliance, and deliver friendly, professional

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process freight and merchandise flow per productivity standards.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners and stock needs.
