Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering excellent customer experiences while focusing on merchandising and freight processing.

You will support store operations, assist with opening/closing procedures, manage freight flow, stock needs, and merchandising planning while ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives related to store activities and merchandising.
