Job summary

Mondelēz seeks an in-store merchandiser to represent the company at retailers in Hayward. You will deliver friendly, professional service to store teams and shoppers, execute daily store visits, and photograph displays using DMI.

You will place orders via iPad using Salesforce, ensure in-stock conditions, implement promotional displays, follow RTM plans, and support seasonal launches while maintaining safe, compliant work practices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location: Hayward, CA
• Open availability including weekends and holidays as needed
• Schedule may change based on business needs
• 6:00 AM start time

• Serve as the face of the company and deliver outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers
• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos via DMI
• Build and maintain relationships with backroom receivers, store managers, and other store personnel
• Order product via iPad using Salesforce to maintain in-stock conditions for shelves and displays
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM-negotiated store plans
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and management team
• Lift, bend, move, and stock products from stock rooms to store floors and shelves
• Maintain safe and compliant work practices
