Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager who drives merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, pricing, promotions, and store readiness.

You will lead workload planning, inventory routines, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution. As a senior store leader, you will oversee SOP adherence, staff coaching, Planogram compliance, and Ship from Store fulfillment while maintaining an engaging, customer-focused

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage inventory and planograms.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes on time, maintaining pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage shrink, damages procedures, and asset protection practices.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding.
• Partner to maintain asset protection and safety standards.
